EIZ student Chapter and other members part of the EIZ went for a technical tour at chisamba solar power plant which was commissioned by his excellence.
The plant consists of or features about 180,356 solar panels across a 106 hectares of land... It generates a capacity of 100megawatts. IT'S THE LARGEST SOLAR POWER PLANT IN ZAMBIA.

CLARIFICATION on the 2025 opening date

The Ministry of Technology and Science has clarified that ONLY first year students in TEVET institutions will open on 24th February 2025.

The extension in the opening date is to allow those who applied for the TEVET bursary to have their applications processed before lessons start.

Returning students will continue with learning activities in their calendar year.

Register for EIZ membership before you complete school. Do it as soon as possible to avoid delays.
Last year a lot of applications were delayed to be approved because a lot of applicants were applying at last of completion of their school programs.
An advise to first year students doing engineering programs kindly register with EIZ to secure a spot. Many companies are looking for certified, known personnel by the engineering institution of Zambia. This certificate is an advantage to you when applying for job and attachments/internships.

All the best to the people starting the exams be it promotion,siting, final exams may God guide you through and may he make u remember what you have been studying and I pray that Him who made u start the program you choose, may He complete with you remember always pray for the devil comes to steal, destroy and kill he might steal your thoughts on the day of final paper pray that God guides u through as it is written as you pray and u don't doubt believe that what you have asked the Father it is already done have a blessed month of exams 🙏🙏🙏
