TENDER OPPORTUNITY: CONSTRUCTION OF BOUNDARY WALL FENCE – KITWE

SOS Children’s Villages Zambia is inviting qualified construction contractors to bid for the construction of an approximately 254-metre boundary wall fence at Kafue Bridge / Esther Lungu Secondary School in Kitwe.

🔧 Scope of Works:

Site preparation & foundation works

6-inch block wall construction & reinforcement

Gate installation

All labour, materials, equipment, and transport required

✅ Mandatory Requirements:

Valid PACRA Certificate of Incorporation

Valid ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate

Valid NCC registration (appropriate grade)

Minimum of 3 similar projects completed in the last 5 years (with evidence)

Company profile & CVs of key personnel

EIZ registration (where applicable)

Completed financial quotation/BOQ & methodology

Acceptance of SOS safeguarding, H&S, and payment terms

Site Visit Request Deadline: 28 August 2026 (Mandatory – by prior appointment)

As SOS Children's Villages Zambia, We are proud to be at the 98th Agriculture and Commercial Show in Lusaka as the Joining Forces Alliance (JFA), bringing together organisations committed to advancing the rights and wellbeing of children.

Together with Plan International, Save the Children, World Vision, and ChildFund, we are using this platform to showcase what can be achieved when organisations join forces.

The Show provides an important opportunity to engage with Government leaders, development and cooperating partners, community organisations, educational institutions, and thousands of members of the public.

More importantly, it gives us a chance to share the remarkable impact of our joint programmes and demonstrate how collective action can help create safer, healthier and more promising futures for children and young people.

From the exhibition stand to conversations with partners and communities, we are highlighting a simple but powerful message:

SOS Children’s Villages Zambia proudly participated in the Mukuni Traditional Ceremony, connecting with community members, partners, and potential supporters. Through meaningful conversations, we raised awareness about our work supporting children and young people without parental care or at risk of losing it, while strengthening partnerships that help every child grow up with the care and support they need.

One message is clear: every child deserves access to safe water, proper sanitation, and hygiene services. Children are calling on leaders to invest in clean water, improved sanitation, and healthier environments so every child can learn, grow, and thrive.
