Our full documentary on the work we have a been doing in Mkushi on giving beyond charity, that was documented last year is out. This was made through the partnership of Africa Philanthropy Network, through the catalytic grant we received. A milestone in building resilient communities.

The foundation has been supporting several community schools in Mkushi with books, pens, learning materials, feeding program, mentorship talks and climate education.

This is giving based on shared values, vision and mutual responsibility.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our CEO Mr Kelvin Nyirongo for being conferred as a Fellow of the Zambia Institute of Procurement and Supply at a dinner ceremony with over 1000 delegates at Avani hotel in Livingstone, on Friday 19th June 2026.

Fellow is the highest attainment membership of the institute and is awarded to individuals with outstanding contributions to procurement and supply management.

The conferment was conducted by ZIPS president Fellow Daniel Kabamba and ZIPS council.

Mr Nyirongo continues to be an inspiration to us all at the foundation and the communities we serve.

On Saturday 30 May 2026, our CEO Mr Kelvin Nyirongo joined scores of young people at Nsumi Conference Hall, in Chingola where Blessing Mwila Kawesha launched his book - 'Unveiling Your Uniqueness'.

Our CEO spoke on determination citing the young man Blessing Mwila who brought scores of people together for the launch. He was on hand to remind young people that time to be strategic thinkers is now, he urged young people to be thinking about policies that will help elevate our communities and country at large.He was blunt to tell young people to concentrate on building themselves than trying out activities that will ruin their lives, making it clear that the founders of the foundation were in high school when they drafted the ideas of the foundation.

We take this moment to congratulate Blessing Mwila for successfully launching his book. The Foundation will be buying some copies for the community school’s its supporting to help young people dream and be the change makers of our communities.

TINA NYIRONGO HONORED! 1992-2019

On Saturday 16th May 2026, we had the honor of celebrating our late sister’s Tina Nyirongo 7th memorial anniversary with an awareness campaign that started with a podcast to raise awareness on Lupus and later proceeded to honor her with a tree planting campaign at the school she first started her teaching career.

We want to send our sincere gratitude to Dr Nason Lambwe who handled this topic with clarity, and for spending this day with us through out our activities. We want to also thank Abigail K***a a patient with Lupus who gathered courage to be with us. This awareness was key to educate the masses on lupus. A recorded podcast will be shared in due course.

We extend gratitude to Chililabombwe Secondary School for dedicating a special place for our late sister now called Tina’s Garden in remembrance of her where the tree planting took place and a classroom in honor of her.

The foundation further announced that it had named the skills training center in Lusaka, a partnership with the Turkish Embassy as the Tina Nyirongo skills training center in honor of her contribution to the foundation.

The foundation has lined up several awareness programs that will continue to run after the launch to raise more awareness and save lives. Volunteers will be guided on how to join this campaign.
