Kutenda Charity Foundation had a winter donation at Foundation Chitungwiza centre for disabled people. It caters for all ages up to 36 years. People living with different disabilities across St Mary's Chitungwiza. We donated baby clothes 😍 from 0 to 6 months and a few for older people. Jumpers, smitten, hoodie and sweatpants 👌.......4.
However, they continue to seek for your help in different aspects.
1. Projects to support them financially as their socioeconomic status is very low eg poultry projects, animal farming
2. Empowering them in skills zvekushandisa maoko, sewing, fashion and fabric, panel beating etc
3. Wheelchair ♿️ 👩🦼 donation as it is a necessity. Every movement, be it going to the toilet they rely on their guardian to help them out.
4. 📌Reusable sanitary pads for the girl child. Period poverty remains a major issue. Imagine being disabled and not able to support yourself. Having to be on your periods each month without any menstrual products 😑
We urge you to remember them, to stretch a hand whenever possible. Together we can work together and buy a wheelchair a year🗣
