Converts to Islam:

“Is There Anything More Important Than Prayer?” 🇸🇳☝️
A journalist asked:
“There were strong winds in New Jersey today, and security officials advised members of the delegation not to go outside for your safety. Why did you leave to pray?”
The response:
“Is there anything more important than prayer? We fear Allah, the One who created the wind. We came here for a game, but we must never forget that we were created to worship Allah.”
“Even if we were playing in the FIFA World Cup Final today, we would still go out to perform Jumu’ah prayer, even if it meant losing the championship. Do not speak to us about compromising the obligations of our religion.”
A powerful reminder that faith comes before fame, success, and worldly achievements.
“And I did not create jinn and mankind except to worship Me.”
(Qur’an 51:56)
May Allah keep us steadfast in our prayers and firm upon our faith. Ameen. 🤲

Allah says in the Quran:
فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا (٥) إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا (٦)
Translation:
"For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease." — (Saheeh International)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «يُؤْتَى بِأَنْعَمِ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، فَيُصْبَغُ فِي النَّارِ صَبْغَةً، ثُمَّ يُقَالُ: يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، هَلْ رَأَيْتَ خَيْرًا قَطُّ؟ هَلْ مَرَّ بِكَ نَعِيمٌ قَطُّ؟ فَيَقُولُ: لَا وَاللَّهِ يَا رَبِّ. وَيُؤْتَى بِأَشَدِّ النَّاسِ بُؤْسًا فِي الدُّنْيَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، فَيُصْبَغُ صَبْغَةً فِي الْجَنَّةِ، فَيُقَالُ لَهُ: يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، هَلْ رَأَيْتَ بُؤْسًا قَطُّ؟ هَلْ مَرَّ بِكَ شِدَّةٌ قَطُّ؟ فَيَقُولُ: لَا وَاللَّهِ يَا رَبِّ، مَا مَرَّ بِي بُؤْسٌ قَطُّ، وَلَا رَأَيْتُ شِدَّةً قَطُّ»
Hadith (Narrated by Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him):

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The most affluent person in the world among the people of Hell will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and dipped into the Fire once. Then it will be said to him, ‘O son of Adam, did you ever experience any good? Did you ever have any pleasure?’ He will say, ‘No, by Allah, O Lord.’ Then the most destitute person in the world among the people of Paradise will be brought and dipped into Paradise once, and it will be said to him, ‘O son of Adam, did you ever experience any hardship or pain?’ He will say, ‘No, by Allah, O Lord, I never experienced any hardship, nor did I suffer any pain.’"

The Quran offer a divine promise that relief is not just a future event but accompanies hardship, the singular, definite nature of "hardship" (al-usr) cannot overcome the multiple, indefinite forms of "ease" (yusr), meaning one difficulty comes with multiple avenues of relief . The Hadith powerfully demonstrates this truth: a single "dipping" into the eternal ease of Paradise makes a person forget an entire lifetime of worldly suffering, showing that our current hardships, no matter how great, are temporary and insignificant compared to the lasting relief that awaits the patient believer.

وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ اَلْخُدْرِيِّ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- قَالَ: { أُصِيبَ رَجُلٌ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-فِي ثِمَارٍ اِبْتَاعَهَا, فَكَثُرَ دَيْنُهُ, فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-" تَصَدَّقُوا عَلَيْهِ " فَتَصَدَّقَ اَلنَّاسُ عَلَيْهِ, وَلَمْ يَبْلُغْ ذَلِكَ وَفَاءَ دَيْنِهِ, فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-لِغُرَمَائِهِ: " خُذُوا مَا وَجَدْتُمْ, وَلَيْسَ لَكُمْ إِلَّا ذَلِكَ } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ 1‏ .‏ ‏1 ‏- صحيح.‏ رواه مسلم ( 1556 )‏.‏

Narrated Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (RA): In the time of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) a man suffered a loss affecting fruits he had bought, owed a large debt and became bankrupt. So, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to the people, "Give him Sadaqah (charity)." Hence, the people gave him charity. However, that was not enough to repay his debt in full. Therefore, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to the creditors, "Take whatever you find, and you will have nothing other than that."

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَهْلٍ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ - عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ وَاللَّهِ لأَنْ يُهْدَى بِهُدَاكَ رَجْلٌ وَاحِدٌ خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنْ حُمْرِ النَّعَمِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Sahl b. Sa’d reported the prophet (ﷺ) as saying: I swear on Allah, it will be better for you that Allah should give guidance to one man through your agency than that you should acquire the red ones among the camels.
