*LEARN THE MINISTRY OF THE SPIRIT*

_*📖Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth… (John 16:13).*_

There’s something very important you must understand in your walk with God: receiving the Holy Spirit doesn’t automatically mean you understand Hisministry. The Holy Spirit was given to lead you, guide you into all truth, and help you fulfil God’s destiny for your life. But you must yield yourself to Him and study the Word to learn about His ministry in your life.

Without Him, the Scriptures remain veiled, but through His ministry, you receive understanding and are able to
discern God’s perfect will. This was evident in the early Church. Before the Holy Spirit came, their understanding of Scripture was shaped by the traditions and reasoning of the average Jew. But after they received the Holy Spirit, they began to learn and understand the Scriptures in a new way.

Even then, their understanding was progressive. For example, the inclusion of the Gentiles in salvation wasn’t clear to them at first. When Peter the Apostle went to the house of Cornelius, a Roman centurion, there was contention. They questioned him for going there. That shows their understanding was still limited even after receiving the Holy Spirit. It was through the ministry of the Apostle Paul that the revelation of global evangelism became clear. He brought the understanding that salvation was for all—reaching to the ends of the earth just as the Lord had said. The mystery that the Gentiles were included in the Gospel of Christ’s salvation was unveiled to him by divine revelation.

The Holy Spirit is your teacher; as you study, He opens your eyes, expands your understanding, and brings you into deeper revelation of God’s truths.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the Holy Spirit who teaches me and guides me into all truth. As I study your Word more, my understanding is enlightened. I grow in wisdom and revelation, and walk in the fullness of your purpose for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

BEYOND YOUR PAYCHEQUE
(Look to God, Not Your Job, as Your Source)

đź“–TO THE BIBLE - Philippians 4:19
“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

LET’S TALK ➡️
Most rivers don’t create their own water; they simply carry water from a larger source, such as rainfall, glaciers, or lakes. When the source dries up, the river eventually disappears. What many people call their “supply” is often only a channel. The most important thing therefore isn’t the channel, but the source of it.

Now, the way some people live, you would think Paul meant, “My God shall supply all your needs according to
how much you’re paid at your place of work.” Even if your “job” is chores, a part-time gig, or allowance, God is still your ultimate source.

Your job ceased to be the source of income for you the day you were born again. Now God supplies all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

If you look at the Sun you will not see the shadows; in the same way, when you put your trust in God, you will stop chasing shadows. Stop stressing about allowance, online fame, or what your friends have—you have a bigger source. Stop seeing your job or your business as your source of income, for God is your source.

The forces of nature will try to make you believe your job is your source, but refuse it completely. The Bible didn’t say “Work, that you may have money.” Rather, it tells us that the reason God wants you to work is so that you “may have give to him who has need” (Ephesians 4:28). Even small acts, like helping a friend, volunteering, or sharing your lunch, are ways God blesses others through you. Your job is a channel to bless others, and in doing so, you are rewarded. Giving is God’s
established medium to prosper you financially—never forget it.

Therefore, it doesn’t matter how much you’re paid at your job or business, never take it as your source of income. Do your schoolwork, sports practice, or any responsibility with excellence and avoid laziness, and God will promote you. Do your job with excellence and shun mediocrity, and the Lord will promote you.

James 1:17; Psalm 121:1-2; Psalm 23:1

Speak
Heavenly Father, I rejoice for I know I can forever rely on you to supply my every financial and material need because you’re my source. I experience promotion and prosperity. Thank you for bringing me to my place of inheritance in Christ Jesus, where I prosper financially, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
