What's your experience so far?

What happens when young people know a service exists, trust it, and feel welcome to use it? 🤔 Lives begin to change. In Lusaka, youth-friendly spaces that once sat quietly within health facilities are now vibrant hubs of learning, connection, and support for adolescents. Through community outreach, stronger partnerships between youth volunteers and health workers, and innovative use of social media, more young people are accessing sexual and reproductive health information and services than ever before. For peer educators like Larry Mudenda and young advocates like Nelly Mtendere, the transformation has been about more than increased attendance, it has been about reaching young people who were previously left behind, building confidence, creating opportunities, and ensuring that adolescents have the knowledge and support they need to make informed decisions about their health and future. Their story demonstrates how investing in youth-friendly services can turn silent spaces into thriving centres of empowerment, connection, and hope.
