We talk a lot about empowering women and the girl child… and truly, that is a beautiful thing. 💙
But at Clemency Home of Hope, we asked ourselves a hard question:
What about the boy child?
Because behind many broken homes — through divorce, loss(death), or hardship —
there is a boy trying to figure out life alone without direction.
A boy loses his father…
or is raised by a single mother who is also silently carrying her own pain.
She tells him, “Be strong. Be a man.”
But no one shows him how.
So he goes out into the world searching for answers.
And the world responds — quickly, but wrongly.
He finds people who tell him:
“Being a man means drinking.”
“Being a man means drugs.”
“Being a man means proving yourself the wrong way.”
And slowly… the boy begins to lose himself.
Not because he is bad.
But because he was never guided.
✨ This is why we exist.
At Clemency Home of Hope, our mission is to restore lives and build futures —
and our focus is to intentionally raise, guide, and heal the boy child.
