Communications Intern (Lusaka Residents ONLY)
Duration: 3 Months

Type: Unpaid Internship (with travel allowances)
An international NGO is seeking a Communications Intern with basic skills in graphic design and photography to support its communications and visibility efforts. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain practical experience in the development and communications field.
Key Requirements:
• Must be a resident of Lusaka
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Development Studies, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Affinity Designer)
• Foundational skills in photography and basic photo editing
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Creative, proactive, and willing to learn
• Available to commit for the full 3-month duration
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in creating visual content for social media, publications, and reports
• Support event and field activity documentation through photography and videography
• Help maintain and organize media files (photos, videos, graphics)
• Work closely with the communications team to support visibility and outreach efforts
Compensation:
• This is a non-paid internship
• Travel allowances will be provided for official assignments
