I have come a long way , I thank God for the widows and women in our office ,
It is a blessing that our self help groups applied for CDF grants and 9 network groups now called cooperatives among the network groups from our office where picked .These are groups from Matero Constituency ,Mandenvu ,kanyama, Ngombe ,Kamwala and ,Kabwata .
Giving Hope Widows and Orphans Foundation is saying tthank you to CDF , with the major program that we have in office Entrepreneur Bank ,our women will continue borrowing from the own Entrepreneur Table Banks .
We also have Youths who applied for Cdf bursaries, among them 28 have graduated at Camco .

Am so gratetful to have these ladies around , they have done so great in coordinating the networks and making sure work ...

well and on time . I have seen all their network groups are doing fine with the Entrepreneur Bank program ,where the members are
able to borrow from the table banks and do there own businesses .

International Widows Day is a United Nations ratified day of action to address the "poverty and injustice faced by millions of widows and their dependents in many countries". The day takes place annually on 23 June.
Giving Hope Widows and Orphans Foundation joined in the rest of the world in the celebrations for it was the first commemoration in Zambia. The founder and director of the foundation madam Brenda Musenga graced the occasion and encouraged the widows and orphans to learn life skills to enable them earn a descent life.

Giving Hope Widows and Orphans Foundation is an organization that is providing a platform for widows/ers and orphaned youths to meet their common economic social and cultural needs through introducing Agricultural programs and other life changing programs ..
Our mission as charity and non-governmental organisation is to see widows and orphaned youths successfully and effectively representing
an essential dynamic force in national economic and social development.
We have introduced Entrepreneur Banking in all our network groups that are now cooperatives ,widows are able to borrow from there own Entrepreneur Banks and do there businesses , this has changed the face of the foundation . .
2023 Theme for International Widows Day is
"Prosperity For Widows. Really we want to see widows prosper , widows come out of the life of begging day in day out .we want to see widows stand on there own and venture to do big businesses to sustain their living .
