OUR EARLY YEARS CLASS BROKE THEIR PIGGY BANK!
During Term 2, our Early Years Class had been learning about the importance of saving. Every day, they put a small amount into their classroom piggy bank, learning that even the smallest contribution can add up over time.
Yesterday, on the last day of term, it was finally time to break the piggy bank!
And guess what? They had saved an amazing K46!
Our little savers headed to Pick n Pay, where they used their savings to buy a few goodies for themselves. They are learning valuable lessons about saving, making choices, money management and independence skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
Well done, Early Years Class!
You saved, you learned, and you celebrated your achievement!
At Sisabelo Saka Inclusive School, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn skills that prepare them for a life of confidence, dignity and independence.
