This past July, we enrolled two students, Martha K***a and Monica K***a, at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) under GHZ sponsorship. Martha K***a has been accepted to pursue a degree in Public Relations. She is passionate about serving her community and believes her studies will equip her with the skills to make a positive contribution to Zambia.

Monica K***a has also been accepted to study Public Relations. She hopes to use the knowledge and skills gained through her studies to contribute meaningfully to her community and Zambia’s development. We are sincerely grateful to the Grassroots Heroes sponsors for their generous support in making it possible for Martha and Monica to pursue their college education and work toward a brighter future.

I had a great time and I gave a talk on just continue working hard and faithfully in your studies and consistently fix your eyes on Jesus, let no other things distract you from the purpose God has Has for you. School is one of the opportunity God has given you, there are young people like you who are wishing, praying and longing for this opportunity. use it to change/improve your life for better!

The college students also came together for a short briefing meeting with Cosmas Zimba, the Grassroots Heroes Zambia Program Advisor, who recently visited Zambia. During the meeting, the students shared their experiences from their different colleges, including some of the challenges they are facing and how they are working to overcome them. They also discussed how they can support one another and shared how their careers are developing. It was encouraging to hear the students speak about how the support from GHI is helping
them work towards their dreams. Although the meeting was short, it was a valuable and meaningful time for everyone. Cosmas encouraged the students to remain focused on their education and to make good use of the support they are receiving. He reminded them that completing their education will help them build a bright future and contribute positively to their families and the communities at large.

I’m Voster John Ngoma and I’m a teacher at Mango Grove Community School. Teaching young people is my passion and currently I’m teaching the 7th grader.

I'm a dedicated and result - driven person with a strong commitment to excellence, teamwork and personal growth. I value integrity, hard working and continuous learning. My aim is to contribute positively in Kids education and any role I take on and build a career that makes meaningful impact on people around me. Teaching gives me that platform to express all that!

My goal is to use my abilities to contribute effectively to my workplace, in the community and the country at large as a teacher. I love dealing with Kids, teaching, giving guidance and just a general support that they need to make their learning interesting and easy.

Thank you

My name is Ruth Mwanza Sichapu. I'm a primary Teacher. I teach the first grader here at Mango Grove Community School for a year now.

What I love about this school?
- is the environment, just speaks for itself, very spacious!
- the teachers, like the way they cooperate in working together, the commitment which is there despite some few challenges in terms of resources like teaching aid is amazing.
- I enjoy teaching the grade one because I love kids and I'm so passionate about it. I believe its a calling to impact knowledge in these little ones.

Thank you for the opportunity.
Ruth.

My name is Barbara Nkandu Lesa. I came to Mango Grove Community School to do my teaching practice for a diploma course, I'm upgrading myself from Early Childhood certificate to a diploma.

During my time here at this school, I taught the grade four of which I have enjoyed teaching them. Teaching the newly base introduced curriculum. The workshop that we get here and linking of the bible with the class subject is very good.

At the first I thought it is going to be difficult to teacher here but with the help of other teachers, it has been easy, enjoyed and I'm so grateful that I came and did my practice here.
