Strengthening Capacity for Gender-Transformative Programming
Zambia Centre for Communication Programmes (ZCCP-Kwatu), in its role as the Secretariat of MenEngage Alliance Zambia, is conducting a five-day capacity-building workshop for Sida-CSO partners and MenEngage Alliance Zambia member organisations.
The training is designed to strengthen participants' capacity to integrate men and boys into programme design, embed male engagement within log frames and budgets, and promote organisational change for gender equality. Through interactive learning, practical tools, and peer exchange, participants are building the knowledge and skills needed to design, implement, and monitor programmes that intentionally engage men and boys as partners in advancing gender equality.
By strengthening organisational systems and institutionalising gender-transformative approaches, this workshop is contributing to more inclusive, effective, and sustainable programmes that address the root causes of gender inequality and gender-based violence.
At ZCCP-Kwatu, we believe that achieving gender equality requires the meaningful engagement of everyone. As the Secretariat of MenEngage Alliance Zambia, we remain committed to supporting civil society organisations to strengthen their capacity, foster positive masculinity, and create safer, more equitable communities for women, girls, men, and boys.
This workshop is being implemented with support from Save the Children Zambia as part of the Civil Society Strengthening Programme.
