In an effort to eradicate voter apathy, we are educating different electorates on voter education using our local languages.

We are a youth led movement promoting democracy and accountability in Zambias governance sector.

We are looking for partners to make sure that each corner of the country is educated on voter education.

CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: 2 CONSULTANTS NEEDED

Youth Arise Zambia is inviting applications from qualified individual consultants for the following short-term assignments:

1. Human Resource Policy Consultant
Scope: Develop a comprehensive HR Policy Manual for Youth Arise Zambia. Should cover recruitment, contracts, code of conduct, leave, performance management, safeguarding, volunteer management, and grievance procedures. Must align with Zambian Labour Laws and NGO best practice.

2. Financial Policy Consultant
Scope: Develop a Financial Management Manual for Youth Arise Zambia. Should cover procurement, payments, banking, petty cash, asset management, reporting, anti-fraud, and compliance with ZRA/NAPSA/NHIMA. Must be donor-ready.

Period of Engagement for Both:
16th April to 23rd April 2026

Who Should Apply:
Individual consultants with proven experience developing NGO/organizational policies. Must show samples of similar past work and be able to deliver within the stated timeline.

1. Expression of Interest– state which role you’re applying for: be HR Policy OR Financial Policy. You may apply for both if qualified.
2. Technical Proposal – 1–2 pages on your approach + timeline
3. Financial Quotation – total cost for the assignment
4. CV + Sample Work – attach CV and 1 sample policy you’ve developed before
5. Statutory Docs – TPIN, NRC, PACRA/ZRA if registered

Scope of Work:
Design and develop a modern, mobile-friendly website for Youth Arise Zambia. Must include: Home, About Us, Programs, News/Updates, Gallery, and Contact sections. Integration of social media + donation/contact form required.

Period of Engagement:
16th April to 23rd April 2026

Who Should Apply:
Individuals or firms with proven experience in website design, WordPress/web development, and UI/UX. Must be able to deliver within the stated timeline.

How to Apply:
Submit the following by Tuesday, 15th April 2026, 15:00hrs:
1. Expression of Interest–brief cover letter + portfolio/links to 2–3 past websites
2. Financial Quotation – total cost, payment terms, and timeline to completion

Our Executive Director Miss Stella Kapinga participated in launch of the Support to Electoral Dispute Resolution Oversight and Capacity Building in Zambia (SEDROBZ) Project – Phase 2026. The event was hosted by the Southern African Institute for Policy and Research (SAIPAR), with support from the Embassy of Ireland.

Building on the achievements of the 2021 phase, the initiative seeks to further strengthen transparent, credible, and effective mechanisms for electoral dispute resolution in preparation for the 2026 election cycle.

The launch featured a panel discussion that revisited findings from SEDROBZ 2021, highlighting key accomplishments, persistent challenges, and existing gaps. The dialogue emphasized priority reforms for 2025–2026 aimed at reinforcing institutions, enhancing remedies for electoral justice, and expanding access ahead of the upcoming elections.
