The name “Kuwala”, meaning “Shining" "Light" Brightness,” reflects our vision of creating a platform where young female footballers can develop their talents, build confidence, and shine both on and off the football pitch.
This transition marks an important new chapter for the club. While our identity is changing, our commitment to player development, competitive football, discipline, teamwork and the advancement of women’s football remains stronger than ever.

We are particularly excited to embark on the upcoming FAZ transitional league season, which is scheduled to commence on 3 October 2026 and run through December 2026.
This transitional period presents an important opportunity for the club to strengthen its structures, prepare our players and technical team, and lay a solid foundation for the future of Kuwala Queens Football Academy.
We look forward to competing with determination, professionalism and the spirit that has always characterized our team.
