🌅 MORNING DEVOTION – YOUTH OF DIVINE SUBSTANCE
FOCUS: DIVINE PURSUIT OF PURPOSE

Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Today, be reminded that your life is not an accident. You were created with intention, designed with purpose, and positioned for impact. God has already written a beautiful story about your life your responsibility is to pursue it with faith, discipline, and obedience.

The divine pursuit of purpose requires focus. There will be distractions, doubts, and delays, but do not lose sight of who you are and where God is taking you. Purpose is not something you compete for; it is something you discover as you walk closely with God.

Do not be afraid to take steps, even small ones. Every effort you make in alignment with God’s will is a step closer to your destiny. Trust His timing, trust His process, and trust His plan.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of life and purpose. Help us to pursue what You have called us to do with boldness and clarity. Remove every distraction and align our hearts with Your will. Give us the strength to keep moving forward and the wisdom to make the right decisions. Let our lives reflect Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Declaration:
I am a youth of divine substance. I walk in purpose, I grow in grace, and I pursue my destiny with confidence. Today, I move closer to God’s plan for my life.

🌅 Morning Devotion – New Mercies for Today

Good morning, Youth of Divine Substance.

As you rise today, be reminded of the powerful truth in Psalm 23—“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.” Today is not empty; it is filled with fresh mercy, new grace, and divine opportunity.

Yesterday may have had its victories and its struggles, but today comes with a clean slate. God has already released new mercies just for you mercies to strengthen you where you feel weak, to guide you where you feel uncertain, and to uplift you where you feel discouraged.

Walk into this day with confidence, knowing you are not alone. Let your thoughts be anchored in gratitude, your actions led by purpose, and your heart filled with expectation. Every step you take today is covered in God’s goodness.

Take a moment this morning to say:
“Lord, thank You for new mercies. Order my steps, guide my decisions, and help me walk in Your purpose today.”

Go forward with boldness. Today is blessed and so are you.

Good night, Youth of Divine Substance 🌙

You have done your best today and that matters. Now is the time to sit quietly, reflect, and look back on your day. Appreciate God for every moment that went well, every strength you discovered, and every step forward you took, no matter how small.

And for the things that didn’t go as planned, still give thanks. There is wisdom in every setback, and growth hidden in every experience. What may have felt like failure today could be preparation for something greater tomorrow.

As you rest tonight, lift your heart in gratitude. Thank God for the day, for the lessons, for the victories, and even for the challenges.

Ask Him to renew your strength, fill you with positive energy, and guide your steps as you face a new day tomorrow. May your mind be at peace, your spirit be refreshed, and your hope be restored.

Tomorrow is another opportunity and you will rise again.

Sleep well, and trust God with all that lies ahead. 🙏✨

Monday Devotional – Youth of Divine Substance

Isaiah 40:30–31 reminds us that even the strongest among us can grow tired and weary. Life’s pressures, responsibilities, and expectations can weigh heavily—especially at the start of a new week.

But there is a promise: those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. This means your strength is not limited to what you feel today. When you trust in God, He lifts you above exhaustion and discouragement. You will rise like an eagle—seeing beyond your challenges. You will run your race this week without giving up, and even in the slow moments, you will walk without fainting.

As you step into this week, don’t rely on your own energy alone. Lean on God. He is your source of renewal, strength, and endurance.

RB AS LEADER OF NAMIBIA

For many years, Rupiah Banda was the president of that United Nations Council on Namibia which was effectively the government of Namibia while the matter of South Africa’s disputed mandate over the territory was being resolved.

The Council was dissolved in 1990 following the independence of Namibia. All activities in Namibia that time had to be authorised by RB

On May 23, 1975, Mr Rupiah Banda had this this to say:

“The United Nations Council for Namibia would like to seize this opportunity on African Liberation Day to pay special tribute to those African patriots who have paid with their lives in the struggle for freedom in Angola, in Guinea-Bissau, in Mozambique and indeed in other areas where the struggle has been particularly adverse, and the sacrifices have been particularly high. The strength of the freedom fighters in those African countries deserves our total admiration. Indeed, the recent victories that have been achieved in Angola, Guinea-Bissau and Mozambique and elsewhere have shaken the very foundation of colonialism and satellite imperialism in Southern Africa. It is through these victories and the stalwart struggle of the liberation movement in Zimbabwe, in Namibia an din South Africa itself, that the end of the long road to total freedom has been brought measurably nearer.

“The time has come for the minority regimes in southern Africa to realise that the freedom of the African majority in Zimbabwe, in Namibia and in South Africa cannot be suppressed for much longer. The international community should now, more than ever before, exert pressure so that the minority regimes will transfer power to the indigenous majorities. Nothing short of that can be acceptable.”

Just as 1 Timothy 4:12 reminds us, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.”

Embrace your journey with courage, purpose, and the knowledge that God’s presence is always with you. You are called to shine brightly, to lead with compassion, and to inspire those around you. Your youth is not a waiting room; it’s your mission field!
