Leadership Vol.2 by Rev. Victor Kateule
The True Heart Of Leadership is where one leads with Influence, Love, Kindheartedness towards the people, Integrity, Transparency, Genuineness, combined with wisdom and knowledge with understanding of the Vision, Mission and the Values that you will stick to which will enable you lead your followers into the promised land (Canaan) and making sure that every follower educated or uneducated is protected and taken care of Spiritually aand is also Physically Empowered.
The proof of the True Heart Of Leadership is found in the followers. Their strength of success will always determine your strength of Leadership through your follower’s livelihood, appearance and end results.
True Leadership is tested during difficult times that’s when you can see and measure the Ability and Influence of great Leadership.
It’s not the position that makes the leader; it’s the leader that makes the position - (STANLEY HUFFTY).
Leaders earn respect by making sound decisions, acknowledging their faults, and putting what’s best for their followers and the organization ahead of their personal agendas. The only thing that walks back from the tomb with the mourners and refuses to be buried is the character of a man.
What a man is survives him, it can never be buried- (J.R. MILLER).
People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care for them. Leading well is not about elevating yourself it’s about empowering others and the number one enemy of empowerment is the fear of losing what we have. But if you keep raising up leaders and empowering them, you will develop a pattern of accomplishment, respect, and leadership that will be documented and rewarded.
That is the essence and the True Heart Of Leadership. Leadership is also the art of motivating a group of people to act towards achieving a common goal. Leadership is linked to performance nothing more nothing less.
