Community Health Outreach at Kamfinsa Community Market

Today, we had the opportunity to meet Natasha Chola from Zamutani Clinic, one of the dedicated Peer Navigators working tirelessly to improve community health.

During the outreach at Kamfinsa Community Market, community members accessed HIV testing services, received information on HIV prevention, and were linked to PrEP services to help reduce the risk of HIV infection.

We appreciate the commitment of peer navigators and healthcare workers who continue to bring essential health services closer to the people and empower communities with knowledge and support.

Together, we can promote healthier communities through prevention, awareness, and access to life-saving services.

πŸ’Š Understanding TLD: A Lifesaving HIV Treatment

TLD is a once-daily HIV treatment that combines three powerful medicines into one tablet, helping people living with HIV stay healthy and achieve viral suppression.

When taken consistently, TLD strengthens the immune system, improves quality of life, and helps prevent the transmission of HIV to others.

Let's continue raising awareness, fighting stigma, and supporting access to life-saving treatment for all.

Taking Health Services Closer to the Community

Yesterday we conducted a community outreach at Kafisa Community Market, offering free HIV testing services, distributing condoms, and providing information on PrEP to help prevent new HIV infections.

Access to accurate information and prevention services is key to building healthier and safer communities. We encourage everyone to know their HIV status, practice safe and responsible choices, and take advantage of available prevention options.

Together, we can reduce new HIV infections and create a healthier future for all.

Get Tested. Stay Protected. Stay Informed.

πŸŒπŸ‡ΏπŸ‡² Day of the African Child 2026

Today, Zambia joins the rest of Africa in commemorating the Day of the African Child, reaffirming our commitment to protecting, nurturing, and empowering every child.

Every child deserves access to quality education, healthcare, protection from violence, and opportunities to reach their full potential. As we reflect on the progress made, we must also renew our efforts to ensure that no child is left behind.

At Mwaka Nawila Foundation, we remain dedicated to advocating for children's rights, promoting their wellbeing, and creating safe spaces where they can thrive and succeed.

Together, let's build a future where every child is safe, valued, and empowered.

🌱 Sustainable Farming Practices for Communities

Sustainable farming is key to building resilient communities, protecting the environment, and ensuring food security for future generations. By adopting climate-smart agricultural practices, conserving water, improving soil health, and promoting biodiversity, communities can increase productivity while preserving natural resources.

Together, we can create a healthier environment, stronger livelihoods, and a more sustainable future for all.

🌿 Grow responsibly.

πŸŒβ™»οΈ The future of our planet is in our hands!

Every plastic bottle, bag, or wrapper we throw away can either pollute our environment or be recycled into something useful. As young people, we have the power to create change by choosing reusable products, disposing of waste responsibly, and encouraging others to do the same.

Let's stand together against plastic pollution and protect our communities, rivers, forests, and wildlife. Small actions today can lead to a cleaner, greener, and healthier tomorrow.

Be the generation that protects the planet, not the one that destroys it.
