Pledge was founded by John Muluti Siachiwena in 2020 in Windhoek, Namibia, not as an organization for comfort, but as a call to responsibility.
This platform was built on one simple truth: a brother must never be abandoned.
We all know a brother who is fighting a silent battle, financial pressure, broken relationships, addiction, uncontrolled anger, or the weight of life itself. Too often, society teaches men to suffer in silence, to collapse quietly, to disappear without being heard. That ends here.
Pledge Africa is brothers helping brothers.
Not pity. Action.
Not judgment. Understanding.
Not talk. Commitment.
I am calling on every brother who is standing on firm ground to reach back and pull another brother up. When a man is surrounded by people who care, destructive thoughts lose their power. When brothers connect, healing begins.
There is no joining fee, because dignity is not for sale. What we ask for is awareness, responsibility, and courage,to identify our brothers who are struggling the most and stand with them.
What began as Pledge Namibia is now Pledge Africa.
This is no longer a location, it is a movement.
A movement to connect brothers across Africa for one mission:
to build a brotherhood that protects, supports, and uplifts its own.
If we don’t save each other, no one else will.
And if we stand together, we become unstoppable.
