"Today marks exactly ONE YEAR since I officially took on the responsibility of serving as your Public Relations Officer.
On the 22nd of August 2025, nominations closed at 23:59, and by the 23rd, I stood before you as your Public Relations Officer, entrusted with the voice, image and visibility of this Association. It has been an honour.
When I took office, my goal was simple: make PSAZ LOUD and SEEN. With the support of the Media Committee, Publicity Secretaries, and every engaged member, we achieved:
โ
9,000+ Facebook followers (target: 9K)
โ
280+ Instagram followers
โ
Launched PSAZ Official TikTok Page
โ
Launched PSAZ Official WhatsApp Channel
โ
3 new affiliate associations (target: 2)
โ
Formalised Publicity Secretaries Council
โ
Drafted the Media Committee Manual
โ
Publicised all PSAZ activities made known to the office
โ
And most importantly, we celebrated our students, our wins, and our shared journey.
Today, I officially step down from the office of PRO
Having recently transitioned into professional practice, balancing these expanding career responsibilities with the demands of this office is no longer sustainable for me. Every experience, good or challenging, has shaped me into a better leader, and for that, I am grateful.
Thank you. For the likes, the shares, the feedback, the encouragement, and even the criticism. You kept me grounded. PSAZ is not about the people in office... it is about you, the students.
I leave with my head held high and my heart full of gratitude. Thank you for the privilege of serving you.
With deepest gratitude,
Mwila Clement Katemba III
Public Relations Officer (2025โ2026)
