The PLO Africa Mentees Club - Northern Region was successfully launched on the 24th of February, 2026, in Tamale, Ghana.

As part of the launch, these four new schools (in addition to Savannah International Academy) were enrolled unto the PLO Africa Mentees Club project:

1. Tamale International School
2. Abe Halperin School Ltd
3. Old Airport Ridge School
4. David Abdulai Memorial School , Academy.

The Africa Mentorship Program Coordinator,Mr. Razak Awudu
outlined the objectives of the mentees club, which is to form school-based Pan African clubs in schools across Africa. He urged the students to take advantage of the club to learn more about Africa's history, the aspirations of Agenda 2063, and to develop African-centered ideals as young people.

Mr. Razak Awudu, on behalf of the PLO Lumumba Foundation, presented citations to outstanding club coordinators and students and commended their good works to promote the club within the school community and beyond.

Currently, the PLO Africa Mentees Club is present in 15 schools (basic, secondary, and tertiary) across 6 countries in Africa.
