It urges individuals to overcome procrastination and fear of failure by initiating action, rather than dwelling on planning or perfection.

Inspired by the quote, we took a bold step towards actualizing our Value Addition vision by planting 103 HASS Avocados ( for Avo Cooking oil )and constructing a 3,000 broiler chicken poultry pen ( for the dressed broiler chicken).

We are intentional about being the lead producers of 1st choice household brand products in Zambia and across our borders.

"Update on Hass Avocado Tree Project

We are pleased to announce that 30 Hass Avocado trees destined for Lusumpuko Farm have been collected and are temporarily being held at Kanjekach Farms.

N.E.W SACCO Board member, Mrs. Jane Bowa Chanda, assisted by Mr. Luka Mwanza of Kanjekach Farms, ensured the trees were properly shaded before their final delivery.

The planting of the trees is scheduled to take place on February 13th, 2025, with the participation of all N.E.W SACCO members.

This project marks the beginning of our Cooking Oil Value Addition initiative. While the start may seem modest, we are confident that it will yield significant benefits and prosperity for our members in the long run.

THE NETWORTH OF NETWORKING
On 14th January , 2025, Kashimi FARMS Director Mrs Jane Chanda and Mrs Njekwa Y. Lumbwe, Proprietor, Kanjekach FARMS, held a meeting with the Zambia Federation of Associations of Women in Business ( ZFAWIB) CEO Ms Maureen Sumbwe.

The objective of the meeting was to introduce Mrs Chanda, a prospective member, to ZFAWIB. Both shared information about their respective organizations for deeper understanding of areas of collaboration.

The discussion culminated in a planned learning visit to Kashimi Farms growing Wambugu apples and Hass Avocados, in Chisamba. This was premised on the acknowledgement of Networking being an important and great way to facilitate knowledge sharing.

Building relationships and connections is equally important as it can lead to new opportunities, collaborations, and personal growth.
