RECAP ON YOUTH SUNDAY SERVICE.
THEME: The Six Godly Standards for the Young Disciple (1 Timothy: 4 vs. 12 -13)
1. A Young Disciple Must Be an Example in Speech.
Colossians 4:6
“Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.”
2. A Young Disciple Must Be an Example in Conduct.
James 3:13
“Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.”
3. A Young Disciple Must Be an Example in Love.
Matthew 22:37-39
“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind… Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”
4. A Young Disciple Must Be an Example in spirit.
Proverbs 20:27
“The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart.”
5. A Young Disciple Must Be an Example in Faith.
Hebrews 11:6
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”
6. A Young Disciple Must Be an Example in Purity.
Matthew 5:8
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”
Prayer Point:
• God help the Youths to live by the Six (6) Godly standards
• God help the parents/guardians to help their children to live by the 6 Godly standards.
