Date: April 30, 2030

Today marks a significant milestone for ReachAll as we proudly launch our visionary 5-Year Strategic Plan, guiding our journey from 2026 to 2030. This event took place at the New Fairmount Hotel in Livingstone, Zambia, from 09:00 to 12:00, made possible by the generous support of the Zambian Governance Foundation through the Civil Society Strengthening Fund (CSSF).

We were honoured to welcome a diverse group of participants, including representatives from various Ward Development Committees (WDCs), Livingstone City Council, the Ministry Of General Education Zambia MGEZ, the MINISTRY OF HEALTH ZAMBIA, the National Heritage Conservation Commission (NHCC), The Livingstone Museum, Play it Forward, Liseli Initiative,The Jesuit Centre for Theological Reflection (JCTR), Zambia Police Service, Southern Water & Sanitation Company (SWASCO), and several media houses such as Muvi TV, Diamond Media and Livingstone TV. Our Guest of Honour, the Director of Public Health, represented the Town Clerk of Livingstone City Council, emphasising the collaborative spirit of this initiative.

As we embark on this transformative journey, ReachAll is committed to:

(a) Upholding Collaboration: We will work hand-in-hand with government, communities and stakeholders to create a united front for progress.
(b) Respecting All Voices: Every stakeholder (e.g. government, communities and partners) will be valued and respected in our endeavours.
(c) Empowering Communities: We view communities as essential partners and agents of change, participating in development work.
(d) Promoting Stewardship: We will cultivate a spirit of stewardship among communities, encouraging them to take pride in their community wealth (e.g. infrastructure, assets and cultural heritage).
(e) Supporting Established Structures: Our focus will be on collaborating with government recognised community structures, such as Ward and Village Development Committees, to ensure cohesive, effective and sustainable development efforts.

Together, we will pave the way for a brighter future, inspiring change and promoting growth in our communities.

This week, our Glow Clubs started the sessions on a high note as we continue settling into our club spaces both in Livingstone and Lusaka.

Creating safe and supportive environments where girls can build self awareness, strengthen communication skills and develop healthy relationship habits is at the heart of our sessions.

Through open conversations and guided activities, our girls are learning how to

- Understand and manage their emotions
- Practice empathy and active listening
- Build positive, respectful relationships
- Set healthy boundaries
- Grow in confidence and self-expression

Our dedicated mentors are ready and excited to walk alongside the girls guiding, encouraging, and most importantly, creating space for every voice to be heard.

We are proud to see the girls showing up.

This week, our team conducted a baseline survey in three community schools where our Literacy Clubs continue to be implemented. .

Last year, we celebrated the graduation of learners in the 3 schools who successfully completed our 3 years program. With new learners now recruited, this baseline assessment was important to help us understand the learner's current literacy levels.

The exercise was led by our Monitoring & Evaluation team, working together with the Education team, to ensure we have clear information that will guide our support to the learners.

We are thankful for the continued partnership and support from LitWorld in (USA), that makes this work possible.

We look forward to another meaningful journey of helping children grow in literacy.

Today, the Global Girls Glow Club Team at ReachAll successfully conducted a mentor training session aimed at reminding and equipping our mentors on the vital role of mentorship in transforming the lives of Girls.
As we begin Club sessions in our selected communities of operation, we remain intentional about strengthening the foundation of our work. Mentorship is more than guidance,it is about listening, supporting, inspiring, and walking alongside our girls as they grow in confidence and purpose.
At the heart of our programming is one unwavering commitment to creating and sustaining a safe space for girls. A space where they feel heard, valued, protected, and empowered to express themselves freely.

🌟 CELEBRATING THE POWER & IMPACT OF PARTNERSHIP IN LITERACY EDUCATION! 🌟

We are thrilled to share a remarkable milestone achieved through the collaboration between ReachAll and our dedicated local and international partners! In 2025, together, we have impacted the lives of 2,326 learners in Zambia, with 256 of these being LitClub members directly supported by our trained mentors. This incredible journey was made possible through the international support from LitWorld (USA) and the unwavering commitment of our local partners: The Ministry Of General Education Zambia MGEZ, ChildFund Zambia, 5 ChildFund Local Partners, Amos Youth Centre (AYC) and Play it Forward (PIF). The 5 ChildFund Zambia Local Partners we collaborated with: Luangwa/Kafue/Chongwe/Mumbwa/Lusaka Child Development Agency.

The power of high-value partnership has proven invaluable, allowing us to reach an additional 2,070 learners at a cost-effective rate of just US$66 per learner for 33 sessions in 2025 (Guide: US$ 2 per learner per session). Thanks to local contributions (In-Kind) totalling US$136,620, we have expanded our reach and enhanced the sustainability of our literacy programs.

These high-value partnerships contributed to this huge milestone as follows:
(a) Expanded Reach - Collaborating with the above local organizations has allowed us to engage more learners and leverage additional resources locally.
(b) Financial Contributions - Our partnerships mobilized local resources and utilized them to run their own literacy clubs which significantly boosted our impact together.
(c) Sustainability - By equipping local partners with the skills to deliver the LitWorld Curriculum (Literacy Powered by Social Emotional Strengths), we ensure that our programs create lasting change in our learners for improved educational and life outcomes.

This achievement is an evidence to what we can accomplish when we work together based on key values. We believe in the strength of high-value partnerships and we are excited to continue this journey towards a literate and empowered future for all learners in Zambia.

Thank you to everyone involved for your hard work and dedication! Together, we are transforming lives through literacy! 📚✨

Happy 16th World Read Aloud Day!

From making reading crowns to playing fun reading games and reading aloud, our team had a joyful time today at Kwathu Children's Home as we celebrated World Read Aloud Day .

The learners were delighted and together with a few of their administrators, they joyfully made reading crowns which they proudly wore throughout the event.

Engaging reading games were played and a volunteer studer and a Litclub mentor participated in an exciting Read Aloud session using storybooks, filling the shelter with smiles and laughter.

A big thank you to Kwatu Children’s Home and its management for warmly hosting us and celebrating World Read Aloud Day together. Celebrating learning, one story at a time!
