Something exciting is happening at Lilato Community Center! Our tailoring and baking classes are underway, and we are encouraged by the enthusiasm, commitment and determination of the participants.
For many of our participants, this is more than just learning how to sew or bake. It is an opportunity to acquire practical skills that can open doors to income generation, entrepreneurship and greater economic independence. πͺπΎ
We are seeing participants eager to learn, practice and turn these skills into sustainable livelihoods. With the right support, a skill learned today can become a business tomorrow and a source of income for a family for years to come. π±
ππΎ WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
To keep these trainings running effectively, we need support in the form of financial contributions or training materials, including:
𧡠Cotton fabric
π Chitenge materials
πΎ Flour
π₯ Baking powder
π’οΈ Cooking oil
π§Ά Other tailoring and baking supplies
Every contribution, big or small, can make a difference. Your support will help us provide hands-on training and ensure that participants have the materials they need to practice and develop their skills.
We believe in equipping people with skills, not just giving them assistance. Together, we can help create opportunities, strengthen livelihoods and build a more self-reliant community.
If you would like to support these training sessions through financial assistance, materials, equipment or partnerships, please reach out to Liseli Initiative.
Thanks to our volunteer baking trainer Lukayla's Platter Palace for stepping in to offer the training.
