Crime (Violence or abuse) is a symptom of broken emotions within us that need urgent attention. This is a battle we have to win from inside to the outside. We have to defeat and destroy the monster within each one of us not the one in another man. Let’s clean up our hearts, minds and lives before pointing an accusing finger. Repent and get a new soul and spirit, because that’s all we need to overcome violence and abuse. Let’s raise pray, love and respect for humanity to restore sanity in our societies. However, disheartened you are the most you can do for your spirit is pray for people who have offended you and would be offenders that God should renew their soul and spirit, and make Him known to them. I know that it is written, evil must come into the world but I also know that God has promised to deliver the world from the bo***ge of corruption into the glorious liberty of His children (Romans 8:21). It’s only through the grace and mercy of God that we can overcome violence and abuse. God takes pleasure and glory when the wicked repent and begin to live in righteousness, (Ezekiel 18:23-25). It is written that “in the last days men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. Having a form of godliness but denying its power” (2 Timothy 3:1-5) since it is written it will have to come to pass in order for scripture to be fulfilled.
