Happy belated Nurses Appreciation Day 😊 to our very own Nurse Reuben and all the incredible nurses out there!

Our volunteers who work with the professional nurses in clinics get to experience the gentle comfort and dedication shown when providing for patients. Your hard work, compassion, and dedication don't go unnoticed. Thanks for all you do in our clinics, hospitals and communities.

Muli Bwanji? Bwino bwanji? Bwino.

Phoeby is our Nyanja teacher for today and she is teaching some basic phrases to the volunteers. While English is the official language in Zambia and volunteers are always accompanied by a local staff member, it is still very usefull to know some basic phrases.

Whether you like Indian, Chinese, Italian, Zambian or Western cuisine, Livingstone town gives you plenty of restaurant options to choose from. One of the favorite restaurants for the volunteers to go to on weekends is The Waterfront, Livingstone, Zambia. They enjoy the view of the Zambezi River while having their meal!

In April, we spent 66 volunteer hours in the classroom. We taught the grade 5 and 6 students who need extra assistance in science. It is a super valuable subject for their future and is a foundation for innovation and progress.
