We are thrilled to announce the successful donation of 250 Hippo Rollers at Chief Siachitema’s Chiefdom in Kalomo District Southern Province!

Our team reached some of the most vulnerable households in the remotest areas, ensuring that safe, dignified access to water is no longer a daily struggle. Each Hippo Roller is transforming lives by helping women and children transport water with ease.

We were deeply honoured that His Royal Highness Chief Siachitema himself graced the occasion. The Chief offered heartfelt prayers for the Lugwasho team, asking for continued growth so that we can extend this life-changing support to even more communities in far-flung areas.

To our partners, and the community of Siachitema — Thank you. Your support is what makes moments like these possible. Together, we’re rolling hope to every corner of Zambia. 💧🇿🇲

Luwasho Foundation Zambia is pleased to announce that, within the next few weeks, we will be donating 250 Hippo rollers to Siachitema Chiefdom in Kalomo District.

The chiefdom was selected through a thorough review of requests we received from various chiefs seeking assistance with water challenges. We are grateful for the trust placed in us.

For the communities that will not receive Hippo rollers at this time, please bear with us. Your needs are not forgotten. We will continue seeking ways to support you when resources allow, and we believe the right help will come at the right time.
Best regards.

Lugwasho Foundation Zambia, in partnership with Mudoka Pork Community Building, is thrilled to announce a landmark donation of 250 Hippo rollers to the Kapete community in Chief Bunda Bunda's area, Chongwe District on 07/01/26.

This incredible contribution will bring relief to families struggling with water scarcity, empowering them to access clean water with ease. Hippo rollers enable communities to transport up to 90 litres of water at a time, reducing the time and effort spent on water collection, and promoting health and hygiene 💦.

We're proud to support this community in their journey towards a healthier, more sustainable future. Next stop: Chief Mwanachingwala, Mazabuka - stay tuned for more water solutions , "
