Lugwasho Foundation Zambia, in partnership with Mudoka Pork Community Building, is thrilled to announce a landmark donation of 250 Hippo rollers to the Kapete community in Chief Bunda Bunda's area, Chongwe District on 07/01/26.

This incredible contribution will bring relief to families struggling with water scarcity, empowering them to access clean water with ease. Hippo rollers enable communities to transport up to 90 litres of water at a time, reducing the time and effort spent on water collection, and promoting health and hygiene 💦.

We're proud to support this community in their journey towards a healthier, more sustainable future. Next stop: Chief Mwanachingwala, Mazabuka - stay tuned for more water solutions , "

Finally Masindila Village, Chasefu District, Celebrates Breakthrough in Water Access, After a long-standing water crisis, the residents of Masindila Village will finally benefit from a newly drilled borehole at the heart of their community. This development will significantly ease the burden on women and school-going children, ensuring they can focus on their education without interruptions. We extend our deepest gratitude to all supporters who contributed to making this project a reality.

Today, May 18, 2025, an 8-year-old boy from Musokotwane Chiefdom in Livingstone Zambia was observed effortlessly rolling a 90-liter Hippo Roller filled with water from a stream. The Hippo Roller's design has brought significant benefits, including easy transportation, storage, and greatly improving the lives of community members.

It was a rare privilege to meet with His Loyal Highness, Senior Chief Magodi of the Tumbuka speaking people in Chasefu District, Eastern Province of Zambia. Our team, Lugwasho Foundation Zambia , traveled over 1,400 km to fulfill this meaningful project. The chief warmly received us and graciously accepted a gift of boreholes for his community. Addressing the severe water crisis in the area, this initiative marks a significant step towards providing sustainable solutions. We are proud to be part of the solution, working together to alleviate water problems and improve the lives of the local people. One borehole is already in the process. God's willing, Hippo rollers again will reach this place.

With the help we the lugwasho foundation,was able to donate close to 400 pieces of English and Tonga bibles to people in rural areas that would be having challenges to access the world of God today ,,,
These areas include milangu ,bweketo in ,kanzungula district and Nantale in Kalomo district

Knowing and understanding God’s word is essential to help believers mature in Christ. And having a Bible improves the likelihood that believers will share their faith with others.

This initiative is more than just a charitable act but serves as a lifeline of hope and a source of strength for many. As stated in the Bible, "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope" (Romans 15:4)
