We are pleased to share that EasyZed Initiative has been invited to join the Africa Alliance for Greening Skills and Opportunities (AGSO-Africa) as a foundational strategic partner.

AGSO-Africa is being pioneered by Jacob’s Ladder Africa (JLA), alongside the African Union Commission and GreenWorks 4 Africa partners, as a pan-African coalition working to address Africa’s growing green skills and employment gap.

The Alliance brings together organisations committed to advancing green skills development, green jobs, youth opportunities, policy engagement, enterprise development and climate action across the continent.

For EasyZed Initiative, joining this coalition is an opportunity to contribute our youth perspective while learning and connecting with organisations working towards a shared vision of a greener and more inclusive African economy.

We are honoured to be part of this growing continental movement and look forward to contributing meaningfully to AGSO-Africa’s work towards COP32 and beyond.

EasyZed Initiative joined End Water Poverty (EWP), a global civil society coalition bringing together more than 150 organisations across 90 countries to advocate for the human rights to safe water and sanitation. (End Water Poverty)

The coalition works to strengthen civil society advocacy, amplify community voices, promote accountability and support action at local, national, regional and global levels towards achieving water and sanitation for all.

End Water Poverty has a longstanding relationship with Water Aid which was one of the coalition’s founding members and continues to host and fund the EWP Secretariat. WaterAid has also supported the coalition’s advocacy and member-led work, including initiatives aimed at strengthening civil society action on water, sanitation and hygiene. (End Water Poverty)

For EasyZed Initiative, joining the coalition represents an opportunity to contribute to and learn from a global movement working at the intersection of water justice, environmental justice, human rights and climate action.

Today marked the successful conclusion of the ITU Africa–Arab Cyber Drill 2026, bringing together cybersecurity professionals, incident response teams, policymakers, and technical experts from across Africa and the Arab region in a shared mission to strengthen cyber resilience.

EasyZambia is glad to have been represented at the Conference Day of the 2026 ITU Inter Regional CyberDrill for Africa and Arab States Regions, held in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

The organisation was represented by Mr. Kasongo, alongside our Acting Programmes Manager and current Deputy Regional Youth Focal Point, Mr. Mulilo.

This important convening brought together policymakers, cybersecurity experts, regulators, development partners, private sector actors and other key stakeholders from across Africa and the Arab States to strengthen regional cooperation in addressing the growing challenges of cybersecurity. As digital technologies continue to transform our societies, protecting critical infrastructure, strengthening cyber resilience and promoting secure digital ecosystems have become more important than ever.

For EasyZambia, participating in this high level platform reflects our commitment to ensuring that young people are part of conversations shaping the future of digital security, innovation and sustainable development. Building cyber resilience is no longer the responsibility of governments and technical experts alone. It requires collaboration across sectors, meaningful youth participation and continuous investment in digital skills and awareness.

On March 22, 2026, EasyZambia proudly hosted the International Virtual Youth Dialogue 2026 (IVYD 2026) in partnership with Youth for Sikkim, bringing together young people from different parts of the world for a meaningful and engaging conversation.

The dialogue created a vibrant space for youth to exchange ideas on climate action, peacebuilding, and sustainable development. Participants shared diverse perspectives and practical insights, highlighting the critical role young people play in shaping a more inclusive society.

This dialogue will bring together young people from different parts of the world to exchange ideas, perspectives, and solutions on some of the most pressing issues affecting our generation.

Across the world, young people are leading change within their communities through innovation, advocacy, and leadership. This dialogue seeks to highlight how youth-driven local initiatives can contribute to broader global impact, particularly in advancing sustainable development and strengthening international cooperation.

The event will convene youth activists, students, young professionals, civil society leaders, practitioners, and public servants, creating a space for meaningful conversation and knowledge exchange.

Participants will engage in discussions on:

• Youth empowerment and leadership
• The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
• Cultural exchange and global citizenship
• Youth participation in global affairs
• Community action and social impact

Through interactive dialogue and shared perspectives, the event aims to inspire young people to recognize the power of youth leadership in addressing global challenges.

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲
World Day of Social Justice was established by the United Nations in 2007 to recognize that inequality, poverty, unemployment, and discrimination are not accidents. They are the result of systems that must be challenged and improved.

This day reminds us that development without fairness is incomplete. Around the world, governments and institutions are working to strengthen social protection policies, promote decent work, expand access to education and healthcare, and embed human rights principles into national development frameworks under the Sustainable Development Goals. These are not symbolic conversations. They shape budgets, laws, and national priorities.

At EasyZambia, we believe social justice begins when young people are included in decision making and when policies are designed to serve the most vulnerable first. Justice means creating real access to opportunity, not just talking about it.

Today we reaffirm that building a fair society requires action, accountability, and leadership. Social justice is not optional. It is the foundation of sustainable progress.

EasyZambia proudly welcomes Ruth Zulu as its New Policy Support Officer and Acting Programmes Assistant. She is a law student and youth advocate whose interests focus on human rights, equality, and sustainable development in Zambia.

Ruth is an Aspire Leaders Program 2025 alumna and is actively engaged in initiatives supporting community empowerment and youth development. She is particularly interested in access to justice, reducing inequalities, and strengthening legal awareness through research, engagement, and policy work.

African leaders have officially launched the Africa Water Vision 2063 and Policy at the 39th AU Summit, marking a transformative step for water and sanitation across the continent. This youth and future-focused initiative sets a clear framework to secure sustainable water access, safe sanitation, climate-resilient investment, and cross-border cooperation, recognising water as central to Africa’s economic transformation, peace, and resilience. We celebrate this milestone and the vital role of empowering youth to lead locally driven environmental solutions that contribute to achieving these continental goals.
