Ebenezer Child Care Trust - ECCT We are a Livingstone-based Not-For-Profit Charitable Foundation that was established in 2001.

The work of Ebenezer Child Care Trust began in 2001 by the late Mrs Ranji Chara, who would gather street kids in Livingstone town under a tree, cooked a hot meal and taught them Sunday school. ECCT has been actively involved in making a difference in the lives of Children below the age of 18. The organization has been involved in various types of social activities which include (providing relief supplies, accommodation, health and educational aid). It has been our endeavour to bridge the gap between children who need help and people who are willing to help. By God’s grace and with support from various donors, we are proud to inform you that we have been successful in our attempts to help orphans and vulnerable children in
Livingstone. Ebenezer Child Care Trust is a Christian consisting of three main projects: a Children’s Home, a school (Ebenezer Trust School) and a Farm. These three projects work together to reach out to vulnerable children so that they may live a life in all its fullness. VISION
To holistically develop the underprivileged children, so that they may receive God’s Love for freedom, and thereby become responsible citizens in Zambia and beyond. MISSION
To provide a caring, empowering environment and an opportunity to every vulnerable child in our care to live life in all its fullness.

Today, the Ebenezer Child Care Trust family honours the incredible life and legacy of our beloved co-founder, Mrs Agnes Brenda Charavanapavan. While we deeply feel this loss, we find comfort in knowing they have been called home and are now at peace with God. They built Ebenezer Child Care Trust on a foundation of faith, love, and a deep devotion to uplifting children. Every life transformed here is a testament to their beautiful heart and vision. Thank you for your leadership, your guidance, and your selfless love. You are deeply missed, but your spirit lives on in every child we serve. Rest in perfect peace.
