Meet Levy Muwana 👋
Levy is the Marketing Personnel & Aggregator of Trash4Cash — aka the face of T4C.
He has represented the project on major platforms, including COP28 in Dubai 🌍, putting youth-led environmental action from Zambia on the global map.
Levy is a student pursuing Development Studies at Mulungushi University, an environmentalist at heart, and a strong advocate for youth participation in leadership and climate action.
Known for his leadership, communication skills, and (very important 😅) his love for Coca-Cola, Levy brings energy, vision, and voice to everything T4C does.
From waste to worth — one youth at a time.

🌍 Meet the T4C Team | Trash4Cash

Meet Chimunya, our Project Coordinator at Trash4Cash (T4C).

She holds a degree in Social Work and plays a central role in coordinating project activities, supporting the team, and ensuring that T4C creates real impact at community level. With a strong passion for people and the environment, Chimunya brings both structure and heart to the project.

Beyond her role at T4C, she is a poet, loves cooking, and is a committed environmentalist. She is also a certified Human Rights Defender, a philanthropist, and actively involved in community service through her church, where she continues to uplift and support those in need.

Chimunya’s compassion, leadership, and dedication to service make her a key pillar of the Trash4Cash vision — transforming waste, empowering communities, and driving sustainable change.

Meet Victor Tapiwa Jekete 💪🏉♻️
Age: 23
Role: Implementation & Marketing Team

Victor is part of the Trash4Cash implementation team, where he supports waste handling, sorting, and on-the-ground activities. He is also a member of the marketing team, helping promote the project, engage the community, and spread awareness around proper waste management.
Outside the project, Victor is a passionate rugby player for Livingstone Rhinos Rugby Club. He has competed and won in the Thunder Cup, Varsity Sevens, and Victoria Falls Tens tournaments. His teamwork on the field reflects the same energy he brings to Trash4Cash — committed, disciplined, and action-oriented.

Meet Levy Jermaine Muwana Earth's superhero
Levy Muwana is a young vibrant youth who has taken up the responsibility to save the planet by collecting trash.
One may argue how one young man can save the planet by collecting trash here is the science : Plastic pollution isn’t just a waste management issue it’s a significant climate concern too. Globally, plastic production and disposal account for about 3.3% of total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, primarily in the form of carbon dioxide.
Levy collects at least 500kgs of solid plastic waste every month in the city of Livingston and in the last 3 years he has collected over 18 tons( 18,000kgs) waste which has been sorted and recycled.
Levy is not the polluter but everyday he makes significant strides to better the environment and save the planet.
