One of the greatest discoveries a believer can make is that they were not created by accident. God intentionally designed your life with a specific assignment in mind. Before you were born, He had already prepared good works for you to accomplish. Your gifts, experiences, passions, and even the challenges you have overcome are all part of God's redemptive plan for your life.
Many people spend their lives comparing themselves with others or trying to fulfil someone else's calling. However, God has never called you to imitate another person's assignment. He has called you to recognize, embrace, and faithfully walk in the purpose He designed specifically for you.
To "Occupy Until I Come" means understanding that every believer has Kingdom responsibilities. Some are called to preach, others to serve, teach, encourage, lead, intercede, give, mentor, or impact their communities through their profession and daily influence. Whatever your assignment may be, God expects you to steward it faithfully until Christ returns.
Recognising your assignment begins in the place of prayer. As you seek God, He reveals your purpose step by step. Rarely does He unveil the entire journey at once. Instead, He illuminates the next step and invites you to walk by faith. When you obey what He has already shown you, He entrusts you with greater clarity and responsibility.
The enemy often attempts to distract believers from their assignment through fear, doubt, comparison, discouragement, and worldly pursuits. But a focused believer understands that fulfilling God's purpose is more important than seeking personal recognition. True success is not measured by popularity but by faithful obedience to God's will.
Today, ask the Lord to open your eyes to the assignment He has entrusted to you. Whether your sphere of influence is your family, church, workplace, business, school, or community, God has positioned you there for a reason. You are His workmanship, His masterpiece, created to demonstrate His glory and advance His Kingdom.
As you recognise your divine assignment, commit yourself to occupying that place with diligence, excellence, and faithfulness until Jesus comes.

1. Lord, reveal the specific assignment You have prepared for my life.
2. Help me recognise the opportunities You have placed before me.
3. Remove every distraction that pulls me away from my purpose.
4. Grant me faithfulness in the small assignments as You prepare me for greater responsibilities.
5. Teach me to steward my gifts, talents, and resources for Your glory.
6. Help me occupy my God-given position until Christ returns.
7. Let my life produce lasting fruit that advances Your Kingdom.
