Copperbelt University Society for Wood Science and Technology - CUSWST The page was made to help more youth to understand the fundamentals of wood.

In Zambia wood is merely fire wood or just for mere carpentry which is a not sort off craft for many. We are a copperbelt university registered society under the office of the Dean of students. We aim at bringing ideas on the use of wood as an engineering tool as well as utilize the wastes via the production of fuel etc. We aim at seeing less dependence of wood as a fuel and how the natural resour

ces can be managed. We also work with partners in ensuring that wood utilization is done at the lesser impact to the environment.
