BALLY REMAIN COMMITTED TO CONTINUE HELPING THE YOUTHS WHERE HE SAYS...

Fellow Citizens,

This afternoon we were privileged to host the National Gender Machinery, a consortium of actors championing the advancement of women and gender equality.

During our interaction we reiterated our commitment to ensuring gender equity and equality at all levels. We are committed to enhancing the participation of women and youths in the development process.

Gender equality remains a national imperative and priority for our government hence its placement under the President's office. Our government will continue to cushion the most vulnerable in our society, especially the women and children, against the negative effects of the drought.

We urged the gender machinery to support the Government’s drive for economic growth if opportunities are to be created for all - girls, boys, women and men.

Jain online application portal opened
The Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts has officially launched the Jain University Skills training application portal.
The Portal is allowing students who wish to undertake skills training in various courses to apply online and attend training online from the comfort of their homes.
The portal on the address www.mysaskills.org is already up and running and youths willing to study can apply online bearing in mind that they must attach their national Registration Cards (NRC) copy.
Launching the portal where Zambian Youths will be admitted, Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts Permanent Secretary in-charge of Arts Fumba Chama called upon the youth to apply and gain the much required knowledge for the job market.
“Due diligence on Jain University was conducted in India by a team from the Ministry and an MoU was signed on December 29 2023. The partnership would facilitate the training of 500,000 youth in short based online skills for a period of 5 years,” he said.
The intensive hybrid blended learning courses range from three months to nine months.
