Zambia's struggling football scene - it's not just about talent, is it? 😔 There are loads of skilled players, but something's missing. Let's break it down:
*1. Sports Infrastructure 🚧*
Zambia's got over 117 districts, but how many have grassroots sports facilities? Which ones are government-run? What's the gov's policy on developing community sports infrastructure? Where's the private sector involvement?
*2. Football as a Business 💰*
Most businesses sponsor sports as CSR, not as an investment. If we treat football as a business, we'll attract investors, create jobs, and get better results. It's about branding, sponsorships, and knowing your fan base.
*3. Nutrition 🍴*
Nutrition's key, but it's neglected in Zambia. Players aren't on professional diets, and it's affecting performance. Christiano Ronaldo's strict nutrition program's a great example.
*4. Investing in Schools & Unis 🏫*
Zambia's education system prioritizes academics over sports. We need sports schools and faculties to develop professionals and create jobs.
It's a systemic issue, and Rhodium Football Management's Timothy Kangwa's got some valid points. What do you think? 😊
