Environmental pollution does not only threaten the lives of humans but also animals, plants and the entire biodiversity.
It's for this real we call upon the government of the republic of Zambia through relevant authorities to quickly intervene in the urgent matter raised by concerned members . Polluted Rivers cannot water food for human survival as we know Zambia especially in Muchinga and the entire Northern region is dependent on agriculture.
We highly condemn the pollution caused by miners due to usage of mercury as a purifier. Further we call upon the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment - Zambia to engage other ministries and quickly resolve this issue.

Do you know that Zambia has one of the most endangered tree species called pterocurpas tinctorius locally called Mukula Tree. It's known for its valuable timber and it's medicinal values, hence it being one of the most smuggled tree species. Illegal deforestation is punishable by law, therefore we shall continue our efforts to protect this wood tree.
It's commonly found in mporokoso,Kaputa, mpulungu,isoka, chinsali and mbala.

Despite being committed to environmental protection, conservation, safeguarding, restoration and defending we are also a peace-building and promoting organization that focuses on exposing and denouncing corruption, campaign against violence.
Therefore,we look forward to our upcoming campaign called SECURE MY FUTURE, aimed at resisting violence and promote peace, prevent conflict and promote Alternative Dispute Resolution Initiative.

Musa Community Development and Sustainability Organization MCDS is a youth led non-profit organization based in Zambia Northern Province focused on environmental protection, conservation, safeguarding, restoration and defending.
A healthy environment guarantee a healthy living.
Our commitment to environmental protection and conservation helps to make people understand the impact of climate change and calls for collective climate actions at grassroot level.
With the rampant discovery of Gold in many parts of the country, we urge people involved to observe and follow environmental regulations because in our recent visit to certain mining areas in Mpika,Mutamba stream has been polluted, Nondo in Senga hill district, the stream has been polluted, this is due to the usage of Mercury during the processing of Gold.
Therefore, we call upon Traditional leaders, government and law enforcement agencies to rise and protect our rivers and environment.
This poses a danger to human and farming.
