🌸 Empower a Girl. Strengthen a Nation. 🌸

Our mission is to Inspire and empower girls and women through skills development so as to bring immediate and lasting change in their lives. We believe that nurturing a girl is nurturing the future. When a girl is educated, supported, and given room to dream, entire communities rise.

Today, we reaffirm our commitment to:

✨ Promoting education, mentorship, and leadership.
✨ Encouraging confidence, creativity, and self-worth.
✨ Providing the tools girls need to shape their own futures by creating a platform that will enable them to learn a new skill.

Every girl deserves the chance to grow, to be heard, and to shine. Let’s continue working together to uplift, inspire, and nurture the next generation of strong, empowered women.

💜 When we invest in girls, we invest in progress.

Happy 61st Independence Day, Zambia! 🇿🇲

Today, we celebrate not just our freedom, but the unity, resilience, and compassion that continue to move our nation forward.

As we mark 61 years of independence, 61 years of unity and resilience, we honor the strength of every Zambian working to build a brighter, more inclusive future — where every voice matters and every community thrives.

Together, let’s keep fostering progress, equality, and hope for generations to come.

One Zambia, One Nation.

🌍✨ The Girl Nurture Project is honored to be at the Africa Climate Summit 2 (ACS2) in Addis Ababa!
Upon arrival, we attended Mass at Addis Saviour Catholic Parish, celebrated by His Lordship Bishop Koffi. He echoed the powerful words of Pope Francis:
“No matter what you do, God will forgive you. Some people will forgive you. But Mother Nature will make you and your descendants suffer the consequences of your actions.”

This message struck deeply. Africa contributes just about 4% of global emissions (with Zambia at 0.024%) yet we continue to suffer the harshest effects, as seen in the recent drought back home.
So, where does that leave us? We may not have created the problem, but we have no choice but to be part of the solution. And it begins with us:

🌱 Plant a tree on your birthday.
💧 Carry a refillable water bottle instead of buying plastic.
🌳 Protect the trees on your land instead of cutting them all down for aesthetics.

Climate action starts with turning ambitions into actions — through small choices that add up to lasting change. 💚

There is a phenomenon where women who spend a lot of time together often find that their menstrual cycles synchronize. This happened in 2023 when a grade 9 class was writing exams. Unfortunately, many of the girls' cycles synced up, and they refrained from writing their exams because they didn't have sanitary pads. As a result, some had to repeat the year, and others dropped out, seeing this incident as a failure.

To prevent such situations, we launched the 12 to 12 campaign, which translates to 12 packs of pads for 12 months. Last year, we managed to raise a total of 25,560 pads, which were distributed to 213 girls. This year, our goal is to raise 50,000 pads to help even more rural girls. We urge everyone, men and women alike, to help us by donating even a single pad from your monthly supply. Men can also contribute because period poverty is not just a women's issue; it is everyone's problem.

Join us in making a difference! Your contribution, no matter how small, can help ensure that no girl has to miss school because of a lack of sanitary pads. Together, we can fight period poverty and support the education and well-being of girls in our community.

Donate today and be part of the change! You can contact us on : +260 97 9070603 and +260 97 9276227
