Ignorance is dangerous.

Never underestimate the Power of Fools in Numbers.

"Needs Never End." Yakaipa.

How long will our people continue to live in ignorance?
How does a rumor become a reason to take someone’s life?

It’s 2026, yet some minds are still trapped in primitive beliefs, driven by fear and superstition instead of knowledge and humanity.

Just when we begin to believe we’re moving forward, something like this happens to an innocent woman brutally taken away, leaving her child alone in a cold and unforgiving world.

It is alarming to see innocent people being attácked and kîlled over accúsations of causing the disâppearance of privâte párts. These acts are driven by ignorance, misinformation, and fear not facts.

This is a serious social and public health issue. We must promote education, critical thinking, and digital literacy so people can question harmful myths instead of acting on them.

Let us choose knowledge over fear and protect human life.

We may need to realize that some of these behaviours are direct results of illiteracy. When people are illiterate, their reasoning is limited, and they act illogically.

Most of the time, illiterate people act and react, moved by their emotions without the benefit of their intellect.

“Mób justice” cannot thrive among learned people! Because education teaches one, among other things, critical thinking.

Education is very powerful in transforming minds and changing society’s worldview and behaviour.

Observation:
If this crowd was of educated people, before joining into the accusations, they would have first undressed the accuser and check him to confirm if truly he's manhóod was missing!

There is no scientific or medical evidence that anyone can make another person’s body part disappear through supernatural means. Yet, these false beliefs continue to cost lives and promote mob justice.

A Human Rights Advocate’s Perspective on the Circulating Video

As a Human Rights Advocate specializing in children's and women's rights, I wish to share my thoughts on a topic that has been deeply troubling me, especially in light of a circulating video involving Some teachers and a pupil from Senanga district of western Province.

A few years ago, I presented a research paper and article titled "A Rampant Deterioration of Morals in Teenagers: A Case Study of Some Selected Basic and Secondary Schools in Zambia." In this paper, I explored the causes behind the increasingly troublesome behavior of students in schools. One of the key factors I identified was the introduction and enforcement of absolute rights, which, ironically, sometimes prevent teachers from disciplining disobedient pupils in an effective and balanced manner. I argued that, in some cases, a more serious physical correction might be necessary. However, I was met with harsh criticism after presenting my findings. Out of the six members reviewing my work, only two supported my stance.

This experience left me disillusioned, and I began to realize that the rise in delinquency, including drug abuse, in our country may be attributed, in part, to a lack of effective physical discipline in schools and at home. While I am a strong advocate for Human Rights, I am also an advocate for the balance between rights and responsible parenting or teaching. The notion that sparing the rod spoils the child, as some would say, resonates with me more now than ever before.
Many of you will agree that, at some point, it was not just words but physical correction, administered by parents, guardians, or teachers, that kept us in line. The circulating video speaks volumes about the challenges of correcting children, particularly those involved in drug abuse or general indiscipline. It highlights how difficult it is to maintain discipline when the only form of correction available is verbal.

While I firmly believe that sharing the video purely for entertainment purposes is inappropriate, if it was initially recorded as evidence to highlight a significant issue, there is nothing wrong with its intent. The purpose of such content should be focused on raising awareness and initiating dialogue about how we can address the escalating indiscipline in our society.

In conclusion, I urge us to revisit traditional methods of disciplining children, combining them with reasonable Human Rights principles. If we continue to neglect this, we risk raising a generation that is highly educated but rebellious, undisciplined, and disengaged from societal norms.
We must strike a balance between respecting Human Rights and ensuring that our children grow up with the proper guidance and correction they need. Without this, we may inadvertently be contributing to the creation of an increasingly troubled and lost generation, full of junk, criminal and rebellious behavior.

What God can do. What we feed children in our homes is what will help them in times of any crisis. This is a great testimony indeed.

Austin Appelbee, a teenager in Western Australia, survived a terrifying four-hour swim after he and his family were swept out to sea near Quindalup.

With no way to return to shore, his mother made the painful decision to send Austin to find help as darkness approached.

Austin swam about four kilometers through strong waves, abandoning a damaged kayak and even removing his life jacket when it slowed him down.

He later told the BBC that prayer, Christian songs, and thoughts of his family kept him going.

“I don’t think it was me who did it — it was God the whole time,” he said. “I kept praying and praying, and I said to God, ‘I’ll get baptized, I’ll get baptized.’”

After collapsing on shore and calling for help, Austin learned hours later that his mother and siblings were rescued alive after drifting nearly 14 kilometers offshore.

After becoming President, I asked my security team to go have lunch at a restaurant. We sat down, and everyone ordered what they wanted.

At the table in front of us, there was a man waiting to be served. After he was served,I told one of my guards, go and ask that gentleman to join us..The soldier went to deliver my invitation. The man stood up took his plate and sat down right next to me.

While he ate,his hands trembled constantly, and he didn't lift his head from his meal. When we finished,he greeted me without looking up. I shook his hand and he left .

The soldier said to me:

Madiba, that man must have been very ill, because his hands wouldn't stop shaking while he was eating..

Absolutely not I replied. The reason for his trembling is something else.

Then I explained:

That man was the director of the prison where I was held..After torturing me,I screamed and cried asking for water.. he came to humiliate me - he mocked me and instead of giving me water, he urinated on my head.

He isn't sick.he was afraid that I now President of South Africa would send him to prison and do to him what he did to me. But I am not like that - such behaviour is not part of my character or my ethics.

Spirit that seem revenge destroy nation while those that seek reconciliation build them. As I left home I knew that if I did not leave behind all my anger, hatred and resentment,I would remain a prisoner forever..

Moral lesson : Hate is for the weak
