Every journey begins with a single step, and today we are celebrating the first steps of our Walking with Prisca School Shoe Drive.

Because of the kindness of people who believe in every child's right to education, we have received 8 pairs of school shoes towards our goal of 250 pairs.

A special thank you to Elijah, who generously donated 2 pairs of school shoes. Your kindness means that two children will walk into school with dignity, confidence, and hope. Thank you for choosing to make a difference.

While we celebrate these first 8 pairs, 242 children are still waiting.

Some of these children walk long distances to school every day without proper shoes. Yet they continue to show up because they believe education can change their lives.

Today, Spread Love Foundation Zambia is proud to launch the Step Into School Campaign, an initiative aimed at providing 250 pairs of school shoes to vulnerable children at a rural school in Kalulushi.

During one of our outreach visits to a rural school, we met a bright and determined young girl named Prisca.

Like many children in her community, Prisca walks a long distance to school every day. Despite her love for learning and her dream of becoming successful one day, she faces challenges that many of us rarely think about.

As we spoke with her, we noticed that she was attending school without proper shoes. The journey to school meant walking on rough roads, through dust, stones, and sometimes muddy paths. Yet she continued showing up because she believed education could change her future.

Meeting Prisca reminded us that for many children, the barriers to education are not always classrooms or teachers. Sometimes, they are as simple as a pair of school shoes.

No child should have to choose between discomfort and an education.

Today, Spread Love Foundation Zambia is proud to launch the Step Into School Campaign, an initiative aimed at providing 250 pairs of school shoes to vulnerable learners in rural and community schools.
