🙏
As Chikuse Village, we would like to sincerely thank our community, relatives, friends, and all well-wishers who stood with us during the send-off of our beloved senior citizen, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many, Mr. Julius Bulayayi (Mr. Muputa).
Your presence, support, prayers, and words of comfort during his burial meant more than words can express. In our time of grief, you showed us unity, love, and true community spirit. We are deeply grateful to everyone who travelled near and far, helped in various ways, and shared in honoring his life.
These few clips shared here are to help us remember and celebrate a life well lived—a man who gave so much to Chikuse through education, football, mentorship, and service to the people.
Though our hearts are heavy, we are comforted by the love shown and the legacy he leaves behind. May God bless you all for standing with us.
🕊️ Rest in Peace, Mr. Muputa.
You will forever remain in our hearts and in the history of Chikuse Village.

🕊️ In Loving Memory of Mr. Julius Bulayayi (Mr. Muputa) 🕊️
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of one of the senior and respected residents of Chikuse Village, Mr. Julius Bulayayi, who passed away on 3rd February 2026 at the age of 79.

Mr. Bulayayi moved to Chikuse in 1993 after retiring from the Zambia Police, having earlier served as an Agriculture Extension Officer. From the time he settled in our village, he dedicated his life to the well-being and development of the community.

He was among the first citizens who worked tirelessly to ensure that Chikuse Primary School was built—a contribution that will continue to benefit generations to come. His commitment to education and community development will never be forgotten.
Beyond development, Mr. Bulayayi was well known for his love of football. Fondly known as “Mr. Muputa,” he coached both the youth teams and the Madalas (old men’s) team, bringing people together through sport, mentorship, and laughter.

Chikuse Village has lost a pillar, a mentor, and a true servant of the people. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, relatives, and the entire Chikuse community.

🕯️ May his soul rest in eternal peace.
His legacy lives on in our school, our football field, and our hearts.
