Last December, we were blessed to host the Teen Missions Zambia Kabwe team at our center. It’s been amazing to see our students learning in the classrooms they helped plaster!

Not only did they work hard on our buildings, but they also spent time in our community sharing the Gospel through evangelism. Watching these young people put their faith into action was a highlight of our year. M

We often spend so much time looking at what is missing that we trip over the blessings right in front of us.

It is easy to ignore the beautiful things we already have while chasing things we might not even need. Instead of complaining about what is not in your hand, start using what is. You’d be surprised how far enough can take you when you actually put it to work.

As you step into this new week, it is easy to feel discouraged by the messy middle of your projects, your career, or your personal growth. We often judge our progress by how things look right now, forgetting that beauty is frequently a result of completion, not just inception.

In the book of Genesis, God did not just glance at a half formed Earth and call it good. He worked through the process step by step.

Genesis 1:10 God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good.

Notice the progression. It was only after the work was established and the MAKING was done that the full weight of its goodness was revealed.

You cannot judge the quality of a seed while it is still buried in the dirt. You have to keep watering, keep tending, and keep pushing until it breaks the surface.

On this Good Friday, we pause to remember the ultimate sacrifice that defines our mission. Our vision to Transform Lives is inspired by the profound love Jesus showed on the cross, a love that meets us in our brokenness and leads us into wholeness.

The cross reminds us that even in moments of deep suffering, hope is being birthed. Jesus did not just endure the weight of the world but He transformed it forever. Hallelujah 🙏🙏

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Isaiah 53:5

At Brook Of Hope Home, we believe that every child deserves the tools to succeed. We are currently caring for over 60 bright, energetic children, and we need your help to keep their dreams alive!

We are looking for donations of essential school supplies to support their education and daily learning:

• Books (Storybooks, textbooks, or notebooks)
• Stationery (Pens, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners)
• Backpacks (New or gently used)
• General Support (Uniforms, shoes, or any learning aids)
