A Drop of Hope

In the morning hush, a dew drop falls,
A whisper soft, yet standing tall.
It lands upon the thirsty ground,
A silent gift, yet so profound.

A child lifts eyes both bright and worn,
Feet are bare, but dreams are born.
Hands reach out to catch the rain,
To chase away the past of pain.

A book, a ball, a meal to share,
A voice that says, "We see, we care."
One small seed, with love begun,
Can bloom beneath the rising sun.

So build, and teach, and sow with grace,
Each little act, a warm embrace.
For even in the hardest land,
Hope will grow where love takes stand.
