Nsansa Village Community Development is in Muwila Village, which is located in between Chongwe and Chibombo District . The Village has a population of about 30,000~40,000 people and each Village is headed by the village headman who is chosen from within the Royal Family in the Village. The area is composed by almost 24 Villages and each village has it's leader who is the head man. The interesting
thing is that each Village is named after the name of the Headman. However all the headmen are under the Chief , and it is to the Chief all headmen reports, submits and the Chief does the appointment of the headman. The reality is that , these people in the villages are going through a lot. We have put our Mission Base in the Village, so we are able to identify the real needs and the felt needs the people are going through. For example the major activities the people do is to cut trees for making Charcoal. Cutting of the natural resources like trees damages the environment very much, it causes soil erosion and turns a place into a desert. Whenever we ask the people in the Villages as to why they cut trees for survive , they tend to say we have no option because we have no jobs they say. What really contributes to these problems is lack of education illiteracy is the major factor that makes the people in the Villages to cut trees. Early child marriage is another problem the village faces. Many girls don’t have sponsorship for their education, and they just sit doing nothing at home and ends being vulnerable resulting in resolving to marry at a tender age, as early as 14 years old. Hospitals are very far from the Villages, making people to walk many hours to the Hospital . Mothers have no knowledge about the health of their children and their own health. This is were we come in by teaching mothers about basic healthy education. There is no clean water in the villages, forcing people to drink dirty water, which is equally used for washing, cooking and bathing. Many suffer from sickness associated with unclean water. Bole holes are need so the people can have access to clean water. Dams needs to be dug for the animals and gardens for growing nutritional crops which can save the lives of many. Why we targeted these people or these villages? It's because there is no any NGOs helping the people in the villages. There is no help and no one to teach the people values. The gap is big between the urban and the rural areas. Because we found the felt needs and real needs the people are subjected to. It's our goal to bring Hope in the lives of the children, mothers and all men. Join us to make change in the lives of the people in the Villages. You are the change the Villages has been waiting for. We need to fundraiser so many girl child and boy child can go to school. You can also volunteer to come and see, teach and be the ray of light in our community(Nsansa Village) which means happy Village because we believe you and I can turn the village from sorrow to joy. From illiteracy to literacy. From drinking dirty water to drinking clean water. From trash to treasure! There are some projects in the Nsansa Community Development Mission such as Agriculture project, Education project, Health for All project and Under 5 project. We are seeking volunteers and funders for these projects. Recruitment information of teaching volunteer for community school in the village
