It’s wrong to suggest that snakes should never have been part of the Earth. 🌍

We are only one part of this planet. Earth was never created for humans alone. It is home to snakes , turtles, lizards , lions , fish , birds and countless other species.

We share this planet with them. Let’s learn to coexist and protect the wildlife that makes our world complete. 🌍❤️

One importance of snakes is that their venom is used to make antivenom, which is used to treat snakebite victims.

Venom is carefully collected from a snake. A small amount is then injected into an animal, often a horse.
The animal’s immune system produces antibodies against the venom. These antibodies are collected from the animal’s blood and purified.
The result is antivenom, which doctors use to help save the lives of people bitten by highly venomous snakes.

"There was a white man who use to keep snakes in our area.
When leaving he released the snakes in the neighborhood that is why we have a lot of snakes".

Have you also heard that story?

Its NOT TRUE as every town and place claims they had such a man.

someone was enjoying a peaceful bath... when he washed the soap off his face, he discovered he had an unexpected visitor.

He called me and I assured him the visitor was not dangerous and probably just got lost.

I guided him on how to es**rt his uninvited guest outside but before he could act the visitor found its own way out through the same entrance it had used.

"Good afternoon, my workers phoned me at the farm - Chisekesi Area saying that had k!lled a snake that had been f!ghting with the dog. I asked them not to dispose it off until I got there the next day. Previously, they had kllled a similar snake but green in colour. Help me ID the snake so that they will not have to klll them if they're non venomous. Regards".

Hello, This is a Mozambique Spitting Cobra.
It is highly Venomous.
Hope the dog is fine, assess the dog to make sure it was not bitten or spat at in the eyes.
Usually dogs are the aggressors, they attack the snake and the snake defends itself.

Should you have a snake in your yard, keep your pets away lest it gets bitten or spat it in the case of cobras and any other dangerous snake.
