The organization was founded in memory of Andrew Munkombwe Hamuyuni who passed away at the aged of 86 and took most of his life empowering communities in areas of agriculture, education and health using his own resources backed by his Christian values. Andrew Hams Memorial Foundation (AHMF) is a private sector initiative that is registered in Zambia as not-for-profit foundation limited by guarantee (Nr. 120241004579).
