Organization for a Greener Environment (OGE) is an advocacy organization that seeks to transform the way we value the environment so as to reduce the impacts of environmental issues in order to promote sustainable development. We are determined to support and promote long-term community development projects that address the causes of deforestation as well as other environmental issues and help peo
ple to move towards the use of green technologies. The organization is responding to the impacts of climate change and environmental degradation in Zambia with reference to other African countries and the world at large. We have realized that if serious environmental awareness and advocacy is not taken into consideration, the environment will strongly fight back as we have already started experiencing its effects through global warming, floods, droughts and many more. The Organization realizes that anthropogenic activities have an impact on the global environment and that we are also part of the solution to the problem. This implies that awareness can be able to reduce the negative environmental impacts by changing our attitude and behavior on our mother land. We are a staunch organization that aims at improving environmental performance through sensitization and awareness so that the future generation can be able to benefit from the services provided by the environment.
