Distinguished guests, community leaders, and the vibrant youth of Matero, Lusaka.
Today, we stand at a critical crossroads in our nation’s history. For far too long, young people have been given a token seat at the table—invited to listen, but rarely to speak; told they are the future, but denied the tools to build the present.
Today, we are here to say: enough is enough. We are Breaking once and for all, and we demand that the voices of the youth be heard!
Let us be completely honest with ourselves:
Youths are the backbone of development in any country. No nation can grow, innovate, or sustain itself if its largest and most energetic population is left on the sidelines. We are not passive spectators in Zambia's journey; we are the engine that drives it.
Therefore, our message today is clear and uncompromising: Let the Youth , , and effectively to the socio-economic development of their country.
Through the Youth Ambassadorship Program (YAP), championed by Givers Youth Support Organisation (GYOSO ZAMBIA), we are proving that anything meant for the youths, without the youths, is simply not for the youths.
We are not asking for handouts; we are taking . We are stepping up as to our future, grassroots initiatives, and economic growth from right here in Matero to the rest of the nation and then Internationally.
To the young people here today: your ideas matter, your leadership is vital, and your country needs you now.
Let us rise, let us lead, and let us transform Zambia together.
