Leave snakes alone
If a snake cannot be left alone, call a snake handler
Do not handle snakes, even small ones. baby snakes are just as dangerous as adults
Never tamper with a seemingly dead snake; many have the habit of playing dead when scared or threatened, only to strike when an opportunity arises
Wear boots and thick trousers or jeans when you spend a lot of time outdoors.

‎Can it stand on its tail, measure your height, and bite you on the head?

‎The truth is, No!. The Black Mamba cannot stand on its tail, measure a person's height, or deliberately bite someone on the head. It simply doesn’t have the physical ability to do so.
‎
‎At most, a Black Mamba can raise about a third of its body off the ground. So, if the snake is 3 meters long, it might lift up to around 1 meter of its body vertically.
