Building bridges for a healthier future

To every adolescent and youth, your health and your future are in entirely in your hands., and you have the power to make the best choices for yourself. Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services are not just about clinical visits, they are about your dignity, confidence and rights to choose.
By seeking knowledge about your body, using contraception, and accessing HIV preventive methods like PrEP or testing, you are taking charge of your destiny, ensuring you can stay in School, pursue your dreams, and live free from fear.

Teenage Pregnancy is a complex issue with significant medical, social and economic implications for the mother, child, and society. It severely impacts education, economic prospects, and social standing, increasing vulnerability and cycles of disadvantage with causes linked to poverty, lack of s*x education, limited contraception access and sometimes forced marriage or abuse.

Preventing Teenage Pregnancy requires a combination of clear personal messages for youths and actionable strategies for parents and educators by focusing on empowering teenagers to value their future over immediate peer or social pressures.

As teenagers lead your voice to the voiceless, speak for those who can't speak for themselves. Remember it takes two to cause a pregnancy, but it takes one to prevent it.
Fight against Teenage Pregnancy.

Our Call to Action
To turn the tide on these statistics, we must commit to three key pillars:
Education: We must provide our youth with honest, age-appropriate information about s*xual health and prevention. Knowledge is their first line of defense.
Access: We need to ensure that every adolescent has access to confidential, youth-friendly testing and treatment services without fear of stigma or judgment.
Community Support: Parents, teachers, and community leaders must break the silence. Open dialogue reduces the shame that often prevents young people from seeking help.

Sympathy vs Empathy.
Sympathy is easy, but empathy changes hearts. The only time you fail is when you fall down and stay down.
You should not judge, you should understand: Never look down on anyone unless you're helping them up, be kind for everybody you meet is fighting a hard battle .

"Su***de is not an answer, it's a destruction.

Many of us have dealt with challenges throughout our lives. Some challenges may be more complex than others. And at times it may seem like your world is crashing around you. Su***de may seem like the only way out.
But in the end, it's not just you that you are hurting and those who love and care about you.
" When you don't have the strength to take another step, don't be afraid to ask for help from those you love and love you to pull you

Today is World AIDS Day.

Theme: Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response .

World AIDS Day is a call for unity, compassion and understanding.
As long as it's about HIV/AIDS, hate the disease, but not the diseased. Spread awareness, not ignorance by integrating HIV prevention, testing and treatment services in order to achieve the goal of ending AIDS as a public health threat by 2030.

Sexual abuse is a serious violation of human rights and can have severe physical, emotional, and psychological consequences for survivors. If you have been s*xually assaulted, it's important to remember that it was not your fault. R**e and s*xual assault is always wrong no matter what happens.
If you or someone you know has experienced s*xual abuse, there are resources available to help, such as counselling, hotlines, and support groups.
