“After Him, there's no more offering. There's no more mountain. There's no more altar. It ends in Jesus.” - Pastor Mensa Otabil

From Noah to Abraham and Moses, the Old Testament is filled with altars built upon mountains. But if we do not understand the progressive nature of biblical revelation, we risk turning those ancient shadow practices into modern physical rituals.

All those altars were merely rough calculations—a process leading to a single ultimate conclusion. That conclusion was reached on Mount Calvary, where Jesus Christ was lifted up between heaven and earth as the complete, final sacrifice.

We no longer need to erect physical altars on church stages or climb literal mountains to find God's presence. Jesus is our final altar and our complete offering. Once the final answer has been given, the process shadow passes away. Look to Christ alone.
